
The Global Attractions Attendance Report for Theme Parks and Museums have released the 2019 figures, showing that attendance at Theme Parks was relatively flat in 2019. Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge had a positive impact at Walt Disney World but figures at Disneyland remained the same.
Adding up all figures for Walt Disney Attractions around the world actually saw a 0.8% decrease in attendance for 2019 when compared with 2018. The addition of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge to Disneyland in California resulted in a 0% change in attendance, whilst at Walt Disney World in Florida attendance increased by 2% at at Hollywood Studios.
In Europe, Disneyland Paris saw a 1% increase and things were a little better for LEGOLAND, with a 5.4% increase at their Billund park and a 5% increase at Windsor in the UK.
