If you haven’t been in a cockpit in a long time, perhaps Star Wars: Squadrons is what you’ve been awaiting. The upcoming arcade-style flight sim from EA and Motive Studios lets you hop into an X-wing starfighter, TIE fighter, and a bunch of those other ships named after Earth letters.
In today’s NGT, Reiner, Alex, and I check out some dogfights and run through some of the questions you may have about the title. Yep, it’s all in first person. Is there cross-play between PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC? Heck yeah! Microtransactions? Heck no! Why did the pilot try to take out that ship by ramming? No idea! There’s a fair amount to process, but Reiner is the right person to help break it all down.
