Whilst EA are closing the doors on Bioware and restructuring their studios business, Cam Weber, president and chief studios officer, and David Tinson, president and COO have announced that Respawn and DICE Studios will collaborate on a future project, with multiple sources confirming this is Star Wars: Battlefront III for Lucasfilm.
Weber and Tinson touted first-person shooter “Battlefield 6” as “a great success, and we learned a lot from the launch and the live service.” Going forward, in addition to future “Battlefield” titles, the execs said “we’ll be bringing together our Respawn and DICE studios to collaborate on a future project.” While they did not identify the project, multiple sources confirmed that this is “Star Wars: Battlefront 3″ for Lucasfilm.
