Jedi News reader and contributor Marc Zachacki sent in a handful of questions for Team Jedi News, asking some familiar questions but from a certain point of view. Next up it’s one of the busiest women in Star Wars fandom, Teresa Delgado.
Q: What were your thoughts when Darth Vader told Luke he was his father?
A: I was really young so I am trying to remember. I think I already kind of knew because I loved Jedi so much and had seen it so many times. There was not much of a surprise there for me.
Q: How did you feel with two years before Luke talked to Yoda and Ben about this in Jedi?
A: I never had to wait because I was not alive when the movies first came out plus I am pretty sure I watched them out of order because I loved the Ewoks so much.
Q: In Empire, Yoda says, “no, there is another”. Who did you think this other was?
A: This is funny because I obviously already knew. Now though I wonder why Obi Wan does not seem to know there is another when clearly he should have known.
Q: In Empire, when Luke lands on Dagobah and he encounters Yoda without knowing it, did you know that was Yoda, or did you find out when Luke found out?
A: I am pretty sure I found out when Luke found out. But I did think Yoda was very funny.
Q: What were your thoughts on Luke and Leia being twins. And looking back did that change them for you?
A: I thought it was neat because I always thought it would be cool to have a twin. Plus she loved Han so it made sense for them to have a brother/sister relationship.
Q: The name Ewok was not said in Jedi. When was the first time you heard the name ‘Ewok’?
A: From my Mom because she called them that. I also watched the Ewok movies and the cartoon.
