Laura Dern, an actress well versed in blockbusters thanks to her appearance in mega hit Jurassic Park, is a part of Episode VIII and sharing the screen with the late Carrie Fisher. Speaking to Nischelle Turner of ET Online she discussed Carrie’s legacy and the effect she had on other young women through the role of Princess Leia.
“I don’t know any of us who didn’t play Princess Leia for a Halloween, or in our life,” said Dern, who recalled watching the first Star Wars film in 1977 as a young girl at Hollywood’s Cinerama Dome. “What an incredible gift to to witness that whole legacy.”
