In an 30-minute Q&A on LBC with Nick Ferrari, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak shared that he is heading to California with his family later today (August 2nd), for his first holiday in four years, and is looking forward to visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland.
Sunak has previously revealed that he’s a big Star Wars fan who enjoys playing with LEGO Star Wars, and admits to having one or two lightsabers in Downing Street.
Nick Ferrari: It was during the hustings you haven’t had a holiday for three years I remember we talked about that up in Leeds if you recall when we first met, are you getting holiday this year?
Rishi Sunak: Yeah, I’m actually going on holiday this afternoon, the country will be left in the capable hands of the Deputy Prime Minister. So we’re having our first proper family summer holiday in I think a few years for sure. I’m very much looking forward to spending time with my kids. We’re going to California which is where I met my wife so it’s very special to us, but the kids are very excited ’cause I’m taking them to Disneyland. Actually I’m very excited, there’s a new, although not that new anymore, Star Wars bit of Disneyland which i’m very excited about, so they rather fear that we’re going to have to spend more time there than they would like.
We hope Sunak and his family have a Forcetastic time at Galaxy’s Edge. Wonder how long he’ll have to queue for Rise of the Resistance…
