LEGO CITY and Friends Advent Calendars 2023 – Final Day (Day 24)

December 24, 2023, 10:00 AM, GMT

We open the twenty-fourth and final doors of the LEGO CITY (#60381) and LEGO Friends (#41758) Advent Calendars. This year marks the nineteenth LEGO CITY and twelfth LEGO Friends calendar, so let’s see what’s behind today’s door.

The final day of the LEGO CITY Advent Calendar brings a minifigure of Santa Claus or Father Christmas, complete with a sack of toys. We’ve seen this minifigure before in 2021’s Santa’s Visit (#10293). He looks great on the sleigh/sled from the last couple of days, and there’s room for the presents too. This is the seventh minifigure we’ve got in this year’s calendar.

The twenty-fourth day of the LEGO Friends Advent Calendar brings us a final pet, the dachshund Pickle. Pickle has a festive red harness which clips on to a pair of standard wheels to support their back legs, and also comes with green antlers that slots into their head. Here’s Pickle on the train we’ve built over the last few days. So we’ve had eight pets and just two minidolls; what do you think of this year’s calendar?

Let us know what you think of today’s builds/items, and the calendar as a whole.
