Let us have a look what is behind the final door of the 2020 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar (and Harry Potter too).
The last day of this year’s advent calendar brings us the final minifigure too, Darth Vader wearing a holiday jumper! The red jumper looks very festive featuring the Death Star and holiday symbols on the front, and just holiday symbols on the rear. Vader comes with his two-part helmet, cloak and signature red lightsaber.
Over the 24 days of the calendar, we have celebrated 9 different media types The Phantom Menace, Rogue One, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Mandalorian, The Force Awakens, The Rise of Skywalker and LEGO Star Wars Holiday Special. The largest build this year was on day 11, the Millennium Falcon from A New Hope. We have updated the list of past days from this year’s calendar below to include the film and piece count.
This is the tenth consecutive year that LEGO have released an Advent Calendar for Star Wars, and this year random calendar days include a letter that makes up a word which can be used as a code in the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga game which arrives next year. The last letter is revealed today as ‘Y’, and along with the letters we’ve had so far this spells out ‘LIFEDAY’. We look forward to using this in the upcoming game arriving in 2021.
As an added bonus, as we did in 2019, we are also be opening the LEGO Harry Potter Advent Calendar, which has a theme of the Yule Ball as seen in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. For the final day we get the goblet from the film which looks splendid, and is built from just 12 pieces, with 3 additional spares.
