It’s day eight of the 2017 LEGO Star Wars Advent Calendar, and we’re already a third of the way through this years calendar!
Day eight brings the return of the weapon rack, something that I’m sure will not please too many. Yesterday’s First Order Stormtrooper didn’t come with a weapon but it’s included here, along with a spanner and a crate/rack. It’s definitely the weakest of doors we’ve opened so far this year.
The build consists of just 8 pieces, and all are used with none remaining. We would have preferred to have a weapon included with yesterday’s Trooper, and another mini build today utilising the same number of LEGO pieces perhaps.
Let’s hope the build behind tomorrow’s door gets us back on track with what has been an excellent calendar so far.
Join us tomorrow at 5:01pm GMT for a look behind door 9.
Thanks to the LEGO LCE team for all their help and support in 2017, and for providing this set. The views and options expressed are our own.
