The Synopsis:

The Plot:
To catch up with the series so far, go here….
Out intrepid team of explorers have fled Yavin 4 and following an ancient map, have found the long lost frozen citadel and home of the ancient ‘Ordu Aspectu’ sect who were part of the Jedi. Unfortunately hot on their heels is the Imperial, Captain Tolvan and her Snowtroopers!
Upon landing Aphra and her Dad find numerous slain Jedi remains, to her dads disgust Aphra starts collecting the lightsabers of the deceased Jedi in order to sell them on the black market, to pay her debts.
The group begin exploring the ancient ruin but their path is blocked by a old engraved stone blast door, using the crystals they obtained in the Yavin 4 old rebel temple, they activate the generator tat controls the door and it opens to reveal a huge chamber with a giant spire in the middle (think Obi-Wan and the Death Star tractor beam generator in ‘A New Hope’, just everything is ice coated)
Before they can reach the computer terminal at the spire, Tolvan and her Imperial forces catch up with them and open fire!
The giant Wookie Krrstantan holds of the Snowtroopers whilst Aphra and her father make their way to the spire via an invisible force bridge which is activated by another crystal control pad (think the original Superman movies when he sees Jurel in the ice palace)
When they are on the other side of the force bridge Aphra knocks out the Force bridge controls & the Snowtroopers that were in hot pursuit fall to an icy demise in a deep crevice.
Aphra and dad find the elevator that takes them to the core of the spire where the find the leader of the Ordu dead, like the other Jedi above ground. They realize that they cant activate the computer without another crystal and all hope seems to be lost. Just when Aphra’s dad resigns himself to the fact that the secrets the computer holds will be lost forever, Aphra produces a crystal that she lifted from one of the Jedi skeletons, her dad places it into the console, the computer awakens……
To be Continued……..
The Review:
Another great issue and the story has moved on a bit more, will be interesting to see what happens next in regards to the secrets that the Ordu Aspectu computer reveals, thats what I like about this series, it keeps you hungry and intrigued for more. My only critique of this issue was that I had to read it a couple of times to get a few panels straight in my head and establish what was going on in relations to the story and what the panels were showing.
It was really good to see the humble Snowtrooper making a comeback, not seen any for a while
The art, by Kev Walker as always is brilliant! More of the same please!
