Earlier this month we saw that publisher Abrams Books removed their product listing for the Making of Rogue One title from their website. This did not paint a pretty picture for the future of the book of course. We’ve been down this road before with the ‘Making of’ title for The Force Awakens having a very unsettled future as well.
Speaking of the TFA ‘Making of’ title, Slashfilm’s Peter Sciretta was able to ask Lucasfilm’s Michael Siglain about the current status of the book during the Lucasfilm Publishing panel at SDCC. And as you can see from his tweets embedded below, the chances of this title ever going from the printing press to bookstore shelves are basically nil at this point.
