Indiana Jones Finds the Marvel Universe’s Most Legendary Artifacts in New Variant Covers

In celebration of the return of Indiana Jones to Marvel Comics, new Indiana Jones Marvel Artifacts Variant Covers, featuring the iconic archaeologist uncovering legendary artifacts from across the Marvel Universe, are scheduled to arrive this November.

Across five spectacular covers by superstar artists Carmen Carnero, Marco Checchetto, Sara Pichelli, Mahmud Asrar and Iban Coello, Indy goes artifact hunting for some of Marvel’s most legendary items including the Infinity Gauntlet famously wielded by Thanos, Thor’s hammer Mjolnir, the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak that granted Juggernaut his power, Knull’s All-Black the Necrosword, and even Doctor Doom’s iconic iron mask!

Marking the first time Indiana Jones and his quest for powerful relics have been seen through the lens of the Marvel mythos, the Indiana Jones Marvel Artifacts Variant Covers celebrate Marvel Comics’ new era of Indiana Jones adventures, kicking off in February with Indiana Jones and the Sword of Pandemonium (2026) by Jason Aaron and Aaron Kuder, an all-new saga set after Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Marvel Comics is also reprinting the character’s beloved 1980s comic book sagas across two deluxe hardcover collections: Indiana Jones: The Further Adventures Book I and Indiana Jones: The Further Adventures Book II. On sale next month, the collections feature the comic adaptations of Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, along with the complete run of The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones. A facsimile edition of The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones #1 by John Byrne and Terry Austin will also be available in November.
