The Review
In this volume of Star Wars Clone Wars Adventures we get to see many well-known characters in action like Jedi Master Luminara Unduli, Obi-Wan Kenobi and the well feared bounty hunter Aurra Sing. In this story we see some simple but effective action from Luminara, teaching the many that simple physics can help a lot. This is one of the first actual teaching points in this collection aimed at kids. So it’s a bit strange that they’ve left it this late.
Then in the second storyline a very interesting and unknown (to some) fact about the great Aurra Sing is revealed. In story three there are small fact file like boxes which appear on different scenes explaining the unknown species of character. This is a very helpful technique which, if used in every comic, would help people get to grips with the Expanded Universe.
The last story though, is a light hearted one which shows a different side to how a battle droid can behave. This has been accomplished before, like in The Clone Wars series but not to this extent, so it is quite a humorous read. Overall, this volume has been one of the best reads yet with some good force-flipping skills and light hearted comedy.
