Towards the conclusion of the panel for Star Wars: The High Republic that took place a short time ago during New York Comic Con Metaverse 2020, Lucasfilm publishing creative director Michael Siglain announced that an original fiction story centered around content from the massive publishing program will be coming to Star Wars Insider magazine this December. Where will this original Star Wars story written by Charles Soule take readers? We’ll find out together at the end of the year!

Star Wars: The High Republic, which takes place in the official Star Wars timeline approximately 200 years before the events played out during The Phantom Menace, is scheduled to kick off in January of next year with Charles Soule’s adult novel Star Wars: The High Republic: Light of the Jedi and Justina Ireland’s middle grade novel Star Wars: The High Republic: A Test of Courage. Both titles will be released on January 5.
