In their Hasbro Star Wars Q&A for this week, GalacticHunter.com have reported that at Dragon*Con 2007, Heath Hammond from Sideshow Collectibles stated to the audience that Sideshow and Hasbro are in talks to produce playsets/environments in the 3 ¾” scale. In response, Hasbro have confirmed that whilst they have had discussions with Sideshow, any public confirmation beyond this is premature.
So while this isn’t a done deal, I’m sure that word of these discussions is going to please a lot of people (myself included). It’s also good to hear that Hasbro are willing to involve others to enable them to produce the items that collectors have been crying out for.
