It’s bumped up from November 2015 to the new date of 31st July 2015, great news for fans who will be itching for a Marvel fix after May’s Avengers: Age of Ultron but, as interested as we are in the Marvel movie universe, why mention it here on Jedi News?
Well, while the official explanation for moving the film from November to July is to shift it away from the 24th James Bond opening weekend and closer to Avengers 2, there could be another possible reason. The shift moves it away from the potential megablast of Episode VII, which it has been rumored could open on 11/11/15.
If not, then the summer has just become even more congested, so expect some colossal misfires at the box offices and the sound of rolling heads.
