The date of the dedication ceremony for Star Tours 2 has been announced over at the Star Tours 2 Live Site.
We’ve known for months that Star Tours 2 will reopen at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on May 20th and we now know that at 10am on the 20th, Disney will hold a dedication ceremony event on that day.
Exact details of what will transpire are unknown at this time but there will be a ceremony held.
When Star Tours first opened at Disneyland and later Walt Disney World, a dedication ceremony was held with Disney CEO Michael Eisner, George Lucas and other Star Wars actors.
Excellent news – fingers crossed that Uncle George attends and that the event is the spectacular it deserves to be.
