It had been long rumoured but it’s now confirmed that the No 1 attraction in London (at County Hall) is staying open till January 12th 2008.
The exhibition put on by Weird and Wonderful, the same people behind the Tantive IV Experience at Celebration Europe, have with Lucasfilm, brought together more than 240 original props, costumes, vehicles, artwork and models creating a comprehensive exhibition of Star Wars memorabilia. The ticket includes a 15-minute session in the Jedi Training School for young padawans, a short movie about special effects, duels in the Green Screen Room and Star Wars characters in costume walking around for photo opportunities.
Jonathan Sands of Weird and Wonderful announced yesterday… “The Exhibition is proving so popular that we want families [and] film fans… to enjoy the exhibition, so extending the run was the best way to ensure everyone gets to re-live the magic of Star Wars”.
