Now this would be some seriously depressing news if it turns out to be true. Our friends over at Making Star Wars have posted an update showing the removal of J.W. Rinzler’s The Making of The Force Awakens from the Abrams Books website.
The comprehensive 368-page hardcover was slated to be released on October 25 of this year.
As MSW points out – does the title’s removal from the Abrams Books website indicate that it has been officially cancelled? Or has it just been temporarily put on hold due to the publisher’s inability to meet the stated October 25 release date for what could be a variety of different reasons/factors, thus placing the title in limbo for the time being?
After the gems we got with the ‘Making Of’ books for the Original Trilogy and the Prequels, it would be a VERY tough pill to swallow if we didn’t get an official book release for Episode VII and the rest of the Sequel Trilogy.
