Star Wars Prequels Costume Designer Trisha Biggar is ready to battle it out for a prestigious Scottish Award.
A HOLLYWOOD costume designer will compete with the director of the Celtic Connections music festival for the flagship honour at the Scottish Style Awards.
Glasgow-born Trisha Biggar, who received a lifetime achievement award at last year’s Scottish BAFTAs, worked on three Star Wars movies and has designed costumes for the likes of Robert Duvall, Natalie Portman and Rachel Weisz.
She will be up against Donald Shaw, the artistic director of Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival, and Amanda Millen, director of the Go North festival in Inverness, for the “tastemaker of the year” prize at the event on Saturday.
Good Luck Trisha!
