We’re starting a new book this week and learning the fate of our favorite baby nerd Ram Jomaram in Escape from Valo by Daniel Jose Older and Alyssa Wong. We discuss how the book’s lighter tone fits with the dark events that followed the fall of Starlight Beacon, examine the Nihil’s attempts at governance, and question the safety of feral children living in an abandoned zoo.
