In our last installment of the Darth Bane book club, Des made a fateful decision to disobey his superior’s orders and alter a mission to destroy a Republic outpost. In chapters 7 through 9 of Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, Des carries out the mission and then faces the repercussions. However, the consequences are not what he expected and he soon finds himself on the Sith homeworld where his own talents with the Force have brought him to the attention of the Brotherhood of Darkness. Given an opportunity to join the ranks of the Sith, Des makes a decision that will change the trajectory of the galaxy for a millennia.
