Hope has a powerful presence in Star Wars. The first ever Star Wars movie bore the subtitle: “A New Hope.” The last line from Rogue One, is Princess Leia informing a crew member that Rogue One brought them “hope.” It is a concept that we are all familiar with, but it isn’t always straightforward on what it is or how it impacts the movies.
