The Republic has turned its sites on the Separatist-aligned world of Umbara, and Obi-Wan Kenobi has been tasked with conquering the planet. Naturally, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker is at his side, and he is in command of the 501st Legion. After a hard fought landing on the planet, Anakin and his clone troopers fight off the Umbarans repeatedly until Anakin is recalled to Courscant. His replacement is Jedi General Pong Krell, a Besalisk with a very different philosophy of command than what the clones are used to. In this episode of Podcast Stardust, we discuss Rex’s confrontations with his new superior as the Clones attempt to carry out Krell’s orders, which often seem misguided.
