In our review of Rebels: “Empire Day,” we discuss Ezra’s struggles with his birthday as the crew of the Ghost tries to sabotage the Empire’s new TIE fighter.
Ezra’s training as a Jedi by Kanan has begun, but Ezra is frustrated. In this episode, he is having a particularly bad day, and Ezra nearly begs out of the mission the crew of the Ghost is set to carry out. However, he joins the crew, and soon enough Kanan, Sabine, and the other Rebels learn the truth of why this day is so difficult for Ezra. Furthermore, when Ezra finds an old friend of his parents, his day gets more complicated.
