The Star Wars Prequels, words that seem to spark almost as much heated discussion between geeks as “Star Wars vs. Star Trek.” There are those who put the prequels on a shelf to collect dust because they just don’t think they belong in the Star Wars Universe and there are those who can “live with them” but only because they feel obligated. There is the “too much CGI” angst and there is the “I can’t stand Jar Jar Binks” crowd. That final group is where I come in. First off, I’m not of the younger generation whose first Star Wars experience was the prequels. No, I’m a true blood, born and raised through original trilogy, guy. When it came to the prequels, however, I’m the guy who went to the theater a half dozen or more times, in the first week of release of Episode’s I, II, and III. I couldn’t get enough. I felt it necessary to go back, soak in the storylines and see the saga unfold before my eyes over and over again. I had to go back to see if I missed anything.
