My pal, the crazily talented Becca Benjamin, brings us her latest blog entry over at the marvellous Cantina Cast as she delves into her successful working relationship with friend of the site Steve Anderson.
Since March of 2007 we became somewhat of a team; a collaboration of storytelling. It really is amazing what we conjure up together. Seriously, for the most part, I go into it blindfolded. What I mean is, Steve creates the art and before I can even see it, I have to describe it. Typically using three words or less and on something I haven’t even seen yet. For me, it’s a funtastically overwhelming sensation.
You see, Steve’s talent is so unbelievably superb, I have yet to see anyone who even comes close in comparison to what he creates. That being said, what I add to the mix is very similar to the shiny ribbons that garnish pretty packages or presents we see at birthdays etc. So yes, my words are the glossy embellishments to his masterpiece(s) and I just hope it’s enough.
