Steve Galloway

Literature Editor, Reporter, host on Take Cover

Steve was 5 years old when he saw Star Wars for the first time during it’s first UK cinema release. He considers himself a first-generation Star Wars fan and in his own words is a “Child of 77”.

During his teenage years, with no new films on the horizon, he decided to pursue other interests. Then, in 1991, a newly released novel on the shelves of WH Smith caught his attention. That novel was Heir to the Empire by Timothy Zahn. From that day, the circle was complete. His Star Wars candle had been relit, and the coming years would see the new Star Wars films and merchandise poor more fuel on that flame which now burns like a raging inferno.

Steve is now an avid collector of Star Wars comics, books, figures, LEGO and a host of other items. He has a passion for all things Obi-Wan Kenobi and Boba Fett, with large collections of items focusing on both these characters.

Since joining the Jedi News team in 2016 as a Comic Reviewer, he has progressed to be Literature Editor and host of the Take Cover podcast. The pinnacle of his Jedi News career so far has been interviewing the legendary author, Timothy Zahn! He is excited by what the galaxy far, far away will conjure up in the coming years and thinks it is a truly thrilling time to be a Star Wars fan.

Please feel free to contact Steve via his social media channels or by email with news, ideas, or for a general discussion about Star Wars.
