Naomi Ackie Says Fans May Have More Questions After Seeing The Rise of Skywalker

While Lucasfilm and director J.J. Abrams are aiming to bring a satisfying conclusion to the legendary Skywalker saga with the release of The Rise of Skywalker, actress Naomi Ackie thinks some viewers may not necessarily get the total closure they are potentially looking for once the film’s end credits start to roll. Ackie, who will be making her debut in the Star Wars franchise with her portrayal of the skilled warrior Jannah in Episode IX, offered up the following comments to Metro about fans still having questions revolving around certain aspects played out on screen.

“I think there are moments in this that really encapsulate what the whole saga has been about,” she said.

And there are some people that leave it that might feel like they’ve got everything they wanted but there might still be more questions, and that’s the whole point. The story continues.”

The Rise of Skywalker lands in theaters December 20.
