Naomi Ackie, Jannah in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, has shared that she’d be excited to return as a Jedi in the upcoming New Jedi Order film starring Daisy Ridley and helmed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.
Speaking to Screen Rant‘s Tatiana Hullender during a Sundance interview for Sorry, Baby, the actress – who played the former stormtrooper Jannah in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker – gave a positive response. “Ask them,” she replied cheerfully. “Star Wars, get it together!… I get a call, we’ll see what happens, I’ll see if I’m free!” The comment may seem ambivalent, but the joy in her voice made it clear she’d love to be back.
