The LEGO Instructions app on Android and iOS has revealed some convention exclusives that were due to be available at SDCC, for Star Wars this was to be a 459-piece Nebulon-B Frigate (#77904). It is not yet know where or how this will be made available but it is likely just to be available in the USA.
This is the second LEGO Star Wars convention exclusive, following LEGO Star Wars Bespin Duel (#75294), released to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Fans will be pleased to know that the inventory shows no new parts have been created for the Nebulon-B Frigate. Earlier this year, LEGO Star Wars fans were given the oppurtunity to vote for an upcoming UCS set and the Nebulon-B Frigate was one of the three choices, losing out to the Republic Gunship. LEGO later confirmed that UCS versions of the two runners up, Nebulon-B Frigate and TIE/sa Bomber, could still be made.
Two other exclusives have also been revealed from other themes, from LEGO Super Mario the 120-piece Toad’s Special Hideaway (#77907) and from Marvel’s Black Widow the 230-piece Taskmaster’s Ambush (#77905). We will share more on availability of all three SDCC sets as soon as we hear.
