Second Andor Series Filming Location Found in Dorset Quarry

There has been plenty of action in and around the seafront in Cleveleys this week, but Winspit Quarry in Dorset, UK looks to be the next filming location for the production of Star Wars: Andor series for Disney+ according to Mike Taylor at the Dorset Echo.

The disused quarry has been closed since April 26 and will remain off limits until May 21.

PHOTOS show a Dorset quarry being transformed into a set to film a scene for a new Star Wars TV series.

The disused Winspit Quarry, based near the rural village of Worth Matravers on the East Dorset coast, has been closed to residents and tourists since Tuesday, April 27 to allow production teams set up.

The Echo understands that it is for a new Star Wars TV series, likely to be Andor, which will serve as a prequel to 2016’s Rogue One and focus on the early formation of the Rebellion.
