Sad news has reached us from the Silver Sabres Combat Academy concerning their friend and fellow instructor Lee Bozier-Lown, Boz as he was fondly known, who has died following a motorcycle accident.
Boz became a student during lockdown and progressed to begin his instructor training in early 2021. He brought to the group a formidable foe who embraced the persona of the Dark Side, although I am reliably informed he was really a big teddy bear. He quickly became very popular at events and his loss will be felt by many.
The Silver Sabre Combat Academy will be holding a minutes silence each day at 11am during this weekend’s MCM Comic Con in London, May 26th – 28th. They would like to invite anyone who wishes to join them to head to the sabre stage area each day and unite in memory of their fallen friend.
