I do not own these but I have thought about getting over-the-ear headphones for a while. Normally I use ear buds but I have been traveling more recently and thought maybe some over-the-ear headphones would be nice. How awesome would it be though if my headphones helped me look like a rebel pilot! I could pretend I am flying my X-Wing while jamming out to the Star Wars theme song when I am on a plane.
If anything these headphones are specifically for the visual aesthetics and not for the audio quality. I probably could get better headphones for about the same amount of money but why would I do that when I can get Star Wars ones? I personally just think they look really cool.
