Brian Wheeler, who played an Ewok and Jawa in Return of the Jedi, is the tenth and final guest announced as attending Echo Base Live XVII: Galaxy of Creatures, taking place at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch on October 11th, 2025.
Brian started in the film business in 1982 with his first job appearing in Return of the Jedi where he portrayed both an Ewok and a Jawa in the Jabba’s Palace scene.
Brian went on to work in some other very notable movies including; Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows 1 & 2, The Phantom of the Opera, The Neverending Story, Hardmen, Wagner, Dangerous Parking, and Stag Night of the Dead.
Brian’s TV work includes the BBC productions of The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe and Prince Caspian and the Dawn Treader. Other works include Cymbeline (BBC), Dom Joly Show, Charlotte Church X-mas Special, Little and Large Show, Dr Xargle (CITV ), Mysti (CITV ), Vespa Boys and Pop Videos for Naked Eyes and Franz Ferdinand .
Brian will be join us all day, signing autographs and answering your questions.
