Movie insider Daniel Richtman is reporting that Ahsoka’s Eman Esfandi is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, playing MJ’s boyfriend in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, releasing this July.
Interestingly, Spider-Man: Brand New Day and the second season of Ahsoka were filmed at Pinewood and Shepperton at roughly the same time, putting Esfandi in the right place to shoot both.
We await an official comment from Esfandi/Marvel.
