Ten years ago, there was a need, and The Peter Mayhew Foundation was formed. In the ten years since its formation, we have answered crisis with compassion, disaster with deliveries, and disease with donations and distractions, and you have helped every step of the way.
You have Helped the Wookiee Give the gift of life to a young woman with cystic fibrosis through financial support for not only her surgery but her family’s lodging during her recovery. You have Helped the Wookiee Give joy to thousands of seriously ill children through the delivery of toys. You have Helped the Wookiee Give hope to a nation’s starving children, actually smuggling in food, toiletries and water purification items. You have Helped the Wookiee Give literally thousands of pounds of food and supplies to hurricane devastated communities.
