Earlier this week, Matt Denton, Lee Towersey, Nick Tyrrell, and Sam represented Lucasfilm and the British Film Institute (BFI) by visiting UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at Downing Street, London, with BB-8 and R2-D2, in support of the UK Film Industry. The Prime Minister is a known Star Wars fan, visiting Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland in California with his family earlier this year.
Yesterday @mantisrobot, Nick, Sam & I were proud to be representing Lucasfilm & BFI to support UK Film Industry. We’ve met a number of talented BFI supported trainees at Pinewood. One of which is the wonderful Rowena who we were lucky enough to have joined us in CFX. #r2d2 #bb8 pic.twitter.com/HzWx6WRekC

The UK film industry continues to go from strength to strength, with new studios in Elstree and Borehamwood, further expansion at Pinewood Studios in Iver Heath, and more studio space at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire — to name just a few of the current developments.
