Speaking at Fan Expo Philadelphia this past weekend, Brendan Wayne, who brings the helmeted version of The Mandalorian to life, spoke about the future for Din Djarin and Grogu with a fair degree of certainty, hinting that the characters will return.
Wayne said “We also know, or maybe only I do, that there is definitely a place in the world for more of us…I think the audiences have given us the permission to proceed. I don’t know if it’s going to be on the small screen or the big screen, my guess is the big screen, but I’m looking forward to it”.
Whilst this is not direction confirmation of a fourth season of the Disney+ show or a cinematic sequel, Wayne does give us confidence that we are likely to see these characters return at some point in the future.
