Congratulations to Haddon Haste, a 12-year-old from Louisville in Kentucky, USA, who has broken the Guinness World Record for the fastest time to build the LEGO Star Wars Millennium Falcon micro fighter (#75030).
Haddon managed to build all intricate pieces together in a hasty time of 1 min 59.72 sec!
He first got the idea to attempt a Guinness World Records title from watching fellow record breakers Dude Perfect online.
When the pandemic began to radically alter daily life in the US, Haddon decided to make the most of the shutdown by setting his sights on a specific record.
Will a little help from his dad, Matthew Haste, Haddon researched various options and finally found a record that combined two of his favourite interests: LEGO® and Star Wars.
Haddon practiced every day until he reached success, making him one dedicated and passionate title holder.
“I am proud of my son for his hard work on this record attempt and I am grateful for your organization for encouraging him to pursue something meaningful in the midst of an otherwise difficult year,” Matthew said.
Now Haddon has the Millennium Falcon micro fighter record under his belt, maybe he’ll decide (with a little help) to attempt the fastest time to build the LEGO® Star Wars 75192 Millennium Falcon™ (team)?
