Paul Weston, who played a Nikto (Stuntman) in Return of the Jedi, is the final guest announced as attending Echo Base Live XVII: Galaxy of Creatures, taking place at the Kingfisher Shopping Centre in Redditch on October 11th, 2025. Paul replaces Paul Springer who has had to cancel due to ill health.
Paul is an English stuntman and actor who performed stunts as Niktos Vedain and Vizam, and appeared as an Endor Rebel Commando in Return of the Jedi, he also portrayed Feyn Vann in Rogue One. While filming the scene where his Nikto character and Lando fall over the side of a skiff, Paul suffered a broken ankle.
Paul is one of the top movie stuntmen of his generation, having appeared in many blockbuster films such as The Dirty Dozen, A Bridge too Far, Aliens, Superman, Robin Hood: Prince of thieves, A Knights Tale, Raiders of the lost Ark, and no less than 9 James Bond movies!
