During yesterday’s closing ceremony of Star Wars Celebration Anaheim, Obi-Wan’s Grand Inquisitor, Rupert Friend, announced that Celebration would return to his hometown for 2023, between April 7th and 10th at ExCeL London.
The show coincides with the 40th anniversary of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi, released on May 25th, 1983, in North America, and June 2nd in the UK, where much of the film was shot (at Elstree Studios, just outside London). This is the third time the show has been held in London, following 2007 and 2016, and the fourth in Europe, following Germany in 2013.
