
Vice President of Visual Effects at Lucasfilm, TJ Falls, is the third guest confirmed as attending Thank the Maker, in celebration of the 10th anniversary of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, at St Swithun’s School in Winchester, Hampshire on October 17th, 2026.
TJ Falls joins previously announced hand props and weapons painter Rut Villamagna and property master Jamie Wilkinson.
TJ Falls is a visual effects producer and executive known for his work on some of the most successful and technically ambitious films and television series of the past decade. After beginning his career in feature film production, he joined Lucasfilm, where he has helped oversee the creation of groundbreaking visual effects for both the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises.
Falls has served in senior visual effects production roles on Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), Willow (2022), Andor (2022–2025), and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny (2023). His work has contributed to productions recognised for their innovation in visual effects and cinematic storytelling.
Now based in the United Kingdom, Falls continues to lead visual effects teams on major Lucasfilm productions, working closely with filmmakers and artists to bring large-scale worlds and characters to the screen through a combination of practical filmmaking and cutting-edge digital technology.
