This year, Wales Comic Con is crossing the border into England and invading The International Centre in Telford, UK this weekend.
Wales Comic Con has had a fast-growing reputation in recent years, and many see it as one of the best shows on the convention calendar. With a huge array of guests in attendance from all areas of film, TV and sport, this year’s line-up includes;
Zachary Levi (Shazam!), Matt Smith (Doctor Who), David Tennant (Doctor Who), Michael Rooker (Guardians of the Galaxy), Alex Kingston (Doctor Who, ER), Catherine Tate (Doctor Who, The Office), David Morrissey (The Walking Dead), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Game of Thrones), Gareth Thomas (Welsh Rugby International)
This is just a few of the guests that are there. From the Star Wars movies there is a rare convention appearance from Ahmed Best who played Jar Jar Binks in the prequel trilogy. Silas Carson (Ki-Adi Mundi & Nute Gunray), Paul Brooke (Malakili the Rancor Keeper), Michael Pennington (Moff Jerjerrod) and Hugh Quarshie (Captain Panaka) are also in attendance with Topps artist Jay Manchand, who is best known for his illustrated Star Wars cards, completing the line-up.
As well as all the star guests, attendees are encouraged to dress up in in their favourite Cosplay. There will also be merchandise and memorabilia stands for you to stock up on those special Christmas gifts for a friend, loved one or even for yourself!
