Woody Harrelson Was Guest At Oxford United’s Game vs Bristol Rovers

Footie fan Woody Harrelson, in the UK filming the as yet untitled Han Solo standalone movie, took some time out to catch a game. Sadly the cheers turned to jeers as Oxford United went down 2-0 to Bristol Rovers.

A LACK of natural born killers in front of goal saw Oxford United’s play-off push suffer a big blow on Saturday by losing 2-0 at home to Bristol Rovers.

Even with Hollywood actor Woody Harrelson – best known for his role in Cheers – watching on from the U’s directors’ box as a guest of the club, Michael Appleton’s side failed to fire.

Football fan Harrelson is no stranger to the big stage – or big stadiums – having scored the winning penalty in a shootout at the 2010 Soccer Aid match at Old Trafford.
