Following the new construction permit filed in late August to turn the shuttered Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser at Walt Disney World into Imagineering offices, bioreconstruct on X.com has shared some new aerial photos showing work is underway.
The images show that work is taking place with materials laid out around the main building, alongside dumpsters, portable toilets, and a new site access gate. The work is being carried out by Balfour Beatty Construction.
We know from Josh D’Amaro that ‘something will happen’ with the Galactic Starcruiser, but it’s still not confirmed by Disney that the current work is for the conversion into offices for Walt Disney Imagineering. We are watching developments closely and will share more information as soon as we can.
