
Daisy Ridley, James Corden, and Elizabeth Debicki have been cast in the forthcoming live action movie of Beatrix Potter’s Peter Rabbit.
Created by Beatrix Potter, Peter Rabbit is a beloved children’s book character who first appeared in 1902’s The Tale Of Peter Rabbit.
He’s appeared in five books since between the years 1904 and 1912, and has become an icon on British merchandise probably sat upon your Nan’s mantelpiece, including dishes, wallpaper, porcelain figures and board games.
James Corden is set to voice Peter Rabbit himself, with Daisy Ridley and Elizabeth Debicki both set to voice unannounced roles. The film will blend animation with live-action.
Bridesmaids’ star Rose Byrne is also set to feature but in a live action capacity, with rumours suggesting she’s set to play Beatrix Potter herself.
