Daisy Ridley’s London-set thriller Cleaner that sees “a group of radical activists who take over an energy company’s annual gala, seizing 300 hostages in order to expose the corruption of the hosts”, is set to be released in the UK on Sky Cinema in early 2025.
The synopsis continues: “Their just cause is hijacked by a zealous extremist within their ranks, who is ready to murder everyone in the building to send his anarchic message to the world.”
It’s left to Ridley’s character, an ex-soldier turned window cleaner, to save the day in the action-packed film, also starring Clive Owen and Taz Skylar.
And eager viewers won’t have too long to wait for Cleaner to hit their screens, with its UK and Ireland release confirmed for early 2025 via Sky Cinema.
Julia Stuart, Sky Original Film’s director of original film (via Screen Daily): “Cleaner is a best-of-British gripping thriller that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
“Following our partnership with the top-class team at Anton on Fuze – it’s fantastic to have this female-driven, nail-biting action package with the formidable Daisy Ridley in the lead.”
