During today’s episode of The Star Wars Show, Andi and Peter shared an exclusive first look at a still from Rogue One that shows off the new U-wing fighter. If you recall, we saw the U-wing (an untitled vehicle at the time) during Gareth Edwards’ panel at Celebration Anaheim in the very first piece of concept art released for the film.
And as if this new still from the movie wasn’t cool enough, Lucasfilm’s Matt Martin dropped by (actually, “rose” by – watch the video, you’ll see what I mean) and gave us some details on this new ship including its full technical name (INCOM UT-60D) and how the wings can be oriented in different ways depending on the desired course of action.
