As director J.J. Abrams’ The Rise of Skywalker (TROS) continues its lucrative run at the box office around the globe, we continue to look down the road at the various offerings that will be available with the film’s home media release. Signs are pointing towards Episode IX having its home media release on March 31, 2020 and we’ve already seen several exclusive 4K Blu-ray titles for the film from Best Buy, Target, and Zavvi that are up for pre-order at this time.
One retailer that is absent from the list is Walmart. There is currently no listing on their website for an exclusive Blu-ray release (4K or standard) for TROS. Will that be changing in the coming weeks? We certainly hope it does, so stay tuned for any updates on the Walmart TROS Blu-ray front as they land.
